The acids in this peel accelerate the exfoliation of the stratum corneum, thereby stimulating the collagen and elastin fibres in the skin to produce new cells. The skin is intentionally damaged, so to speak, thus encouraging its natural repair mechanism. The skin looks smoother, firmer and more even, and its texture is intensely improved.

DESCRIPTION

The Glycopeel 5% is a fruit acid peel based on 5% glycolic acid and removes dead skin cells gently, without grit. Dead skin cells can clog pores, causing blemishes and pimples. In addition, dead skin cells give the skin a dull, drab appearance. Removing dead skin cells thins the epidermis, reducing the chance of clogged pores. Evens out the skin, promotes blood circulation and active ingredients from creams, serums and masks can be better absorbed.
Use in preparation for the glycopeel treatment or as an exfoliant in place of a scrub or peel.

KEY INGREDIENTS
  • Glycolic Acid (5% Glycolic Acid):Smallest AHA molecule that loosens and removes dead skin cells. Stimulates cell renewal, refines skin texture, supports moisture balance, and helps reduce superficial pigmentation spots.
  • Hydroxyethylcellulose:Ensures even distribution of the peel and comfortable application.
  • Sodium Hydroxide:Regulates the pH value so that the peel remains effective and skin-friendly.
  • Benzyl Alcohol & Dehydroacetic Acid:Protective ingredients that contribute to the stability and safety of the formula.

APPLICATION

Apply Glycopeel 5% to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave the peel on for 2 to a maximum of 3 minutes. A slight stinging or tingling sensation is normal.
If the burning sensation persists, immediately remove the peel with lukewarm water, cotton pads, or a damp compress.
This peel may be used up to 3 times per week, depending on skin condition and tolerance. Do not use on damaged or irritated skin.
